SEED - dance for libraries
Meet Kid and Pinto, two Seedologists on the look-out for new specimens.
Together they follow the journey of a mysterious new seed that has appeared in the library, watching it transform as it travels through the four seasons.
A playful, interactive adventure for everyone, inspired by nature and the world around us, and devised collaboratively with groups of children aged 18 months to 4 years old and their families in Surrey and Hillingdon.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the newest work by Made By Katie Green, with new writing by poet Anna Selby, design by Hannah Green and Edel Izquierdo and music by Dougie Evans.
The SEED project was supported in 2024 by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, co-commissioned by Surrey Libraries and Active Surrey. Our pilot performances in June 2024 were supported by Surrey Libraries, Medway Libraries/Applause Touring and Northamptonshire Libraries/Library Plus. Our research for the project was also supported by The Hive in Guildford and Ruislip Manor Library (Hillingdon Libraries).

We hope to get SEED back on the road again soon! Watch this space for more opportunities to see the piece in 2025...
We are proudly Fantastic for Families and have signed up to the Family Arts Standards. The Fantastic for Families badge below indicates that SEED is an event with particular appeal to families, and can be enjoyed by people of all generations attending together.
