Made By Katie Green is a contemporary dance company developing new ways of responding to historical artefacts and heritage sites through dance. Working collaboratively with a range of artists, we create stories that bring our shared past to life in new ways, and engage a broad audience, including those who are new to dance. Our projects also take place in other sites where you wouldn't expect to find a dance performance, including libraries, galleries, caves and underground spaces.
We also manage The Imagination Museum - a hub, online and in person, for sharing events, opportunities, experiences and resources exploring ways of moving in museums.
Devised with archaeologists, geologists, historians, cavers & former miners, @madebyKG’s Beneath Our Feet is a promenade performance that uses dance & live music to tell the story of the underground. https://t.co/EKmX3Fd8S0#DanceMuseumsMarathon #MuseumWeek #danceMW @MuseumWeek

Cotton by @AboutTimeDC was the first case study we shared on the #ImaginationMuseum. Intertwined w/ traditional Lancashire clog dancing, mesmerising sound & intricate choreography, it explores the life of a Lancashire Mill https://t.co/HUMMFJJ4do #MuseumWeek #danceMW @MuseumWeek
