Joining our Core Cast - Sarah Blanc, Megan Griffiths and Lucy Starkey - we would like to introduce our team of local artists who will support The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400 project in the Pilgrim Roots Hub (Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire), Hampshire and Plymouth.
Multi award-winning choreographer Katie Green will bring her newest project 'The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400' to Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Hampshire and Plymouth in the lead up to the 2020 anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower. The project will see 5,500 people get involved in innovative dance and heritage events within their local community.
From July 2016 – March 2017, we undertook a research project exploring how dance might be used to teach history in primary schools, supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and informed by the company’s extensive experience of using dance in heritage and museum contexts since 2013.
